First Week of School!

Welcome 3rd grade families! We are so excited to be starting the year with such amazing students and families. This week has been full of many activities. We started building a community within each classroom and we look forward to continue to build new relationships throughout the rest of the year!

As we head into a new school year, there a couple important things to remember:

-BIRTHDAYS: If your child has a birthday during the school year ,they are welcome to bring in class treats if they would like. If your child brings in treats, they must be store bought. Please contact your child's teacher for a class list/number. Please let us know if you have any questions!

-HOMEWORK: A reading log and a math packet will be sent home next Friday. Please have your student read at least 30 minutes each night. Reading logs and math packets are due the following Friday morning.

-ECLIPSE PERMISSION SLIPS: The solar eclipse will occur on Monday, August 21st! If would like your child to witness the solar eclipse with our class on Monday, you must turn in a signed permission slip! If you did not turn in a permission slip already, we sent one home in your child's Friday folder. Please sign and return by Monday in order for your child to participate. There is also a digital permission slip available on Infinite Campus, if you would like to sign digitally.

Again, we are so excited to begin this year our amazing 3rd graders! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out! Have a great weekend!
